The Inheritance of Ibrahim's Offspring

"I will appear to you, says the Lord, and I will bring back your captives from all the nations and places where I have scattered you. I will return you to the place where I took you captive." - Jeremiah 29:13-14

Story of Transformation March 7, 2025

On May 14, 1948, in response to a groundbreaking United Nations resolution a year earlier, the state of Israel was re-established. Jews from around the globe united to reclaim their homeland after nearly 2000 years, revitalizing a profound legacy and tradition.

History reveals a profound journey of resilience. Towards the end of a divine era of mercy and protection, a rebellion arose among the Jews against the Roman Empire in 66 AD. These sparked years of conflict, culminating in the siege of Jerusalem by General Titus and the eventual destruction of the Second Temple. From 70 AD, when their beloved city fell, until the miraculous establishment of Israel in 1948, the Jewish people endured a dispersion without a homeland.

Israel’s history is a testament to resilience, marked by victory, defeat, and a powerful return to the land. Throughout this long journey, even when existence seemed impossible, a divine promise always called them back from despair to their traditional faith. The Babylonian conquest, led by Nebuchadnezzar, brought destruction to the first temple built by King Solomon and inflicted great suffering on the Israelites. Yet, even in those darkest times, God’s promise endured. As we read in Jeremiah 29:13-14, we are reminded that Israel will be remembered: “I will appear to you, says the Lord, and I will bring back your captives from all the nations and places where I have scattered you. I will return you to the place where I took you captive.”

Dear friends, those of us who genuinely believe in God are also part of the spiritual family of Israel, as we share in the blessings promised to Abraham, the father of all believers. Through our faith, we are considered sons and daughters of Abraham. In Galatians 3:6-9, it tells us, “So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.”

Do you believe this?
