PUT ON CHRIST

"But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts."- Romans 13:14

Story of Transformation January 7, 2025

You may have heard the phrase, “the clothes we wear can reveal who we are.” It’s interesting that when people look at our clothing, it can reflect the values of the wearers. Our clothing should be chosen with care, as it represents who we are. That’s true!

The Apostle Paul instructs us to “put on Christ.” In Romans 13:14, he writes, “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” But what does it mean to “wear Christ”? To wear Jesus Christ is not about putting on a particular style of clothing from various shops. Rather, wearing “Christ” means embracing his teachings, acting as he did when he was in the world, and allowing ourselves to be guided by him.

Dear friend, today I ask you: Are you truly wearing Christ? Have you embraced him and made him a part of your life? Have you put on Christ and are you living in Him?
