The field of zoo-semiotics studies animal communication. Animal communication of all kinds has been the subject of several investigations. The humpback whale is a big baleen whale that serves as an example. It is forty tons in weight and forty-six to fifty-six meters in length. It is well known that the male whale sings the world’s longest song. The duration of a song is up to 33 minutes. This “song” shares sentiments about a certain choice. In other words, it sings and communicates with other animals to affirm or refute certain things.
It’s the same with people. Although we communicate using words, sometimes we also use gestures to convey messages. One can use eyes, lips, or hands so that a person knows exactly the message intended for him and responds to it. An example is Jude who betrayed Jesus by kissing him. Mark 14:43-44
It is also possible to send messages using actions. Our Lord himself used the message of sacrifice to show his wonderful love for the human. Are you ready to receive this message of love that Jesus gave you through the great act of self-sacrifice? Do your actions show that you love the one who loves you, who is Jesus Christ?
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!
