Jesus has prepared a home for us in heaven, as stated in John 14:1-3 and Philippians 3:20. The heroes of faith recognized that a better country awaited them, demonstrating their trust in God’s promise by embarking on the journey to this divine destination. Hebrews 11:16 reassures us, saying,
“But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.”
Are you ready to embark on an incredible journey back home? The longing for familiar comforts, cherished memories, and the warmth of loved ones—how deeply does that homesickness resonate within you? Can you feel the pull of nostalgia, urging you to return to the place where your heart truly belongs? How much does that yearning for home motivate you to move forward? Let us be inspired by the faith of heroes and eagerly anticipate the glorious home that awaits us.
Prayer Point:
Lord, instill in me a deep longing for heaven, so profound that nothing and no one can hinder my journey to reach it.
